The Griffin Co. has scrapped plans for a SoBo (South Buckhead) office condominium building. The developer instead has put the 1.6-acre site at 1820 Peachtree up for sale for an undisclosed sum. “Our concept for 1820 Peachtree right now is on hold,” said Kirk Demetrops, senior vice president of Griffin. The site — between the Macquarium Building and the former Mayflower apartments — is currently home to a Wendy’s restaurant.
