KirkKirk S. Demetrops – Principal
Kirk S. Demetrops is President and founder of MidCity. He oversees the acquisition/development strategy, equity/debt partners, user/partner transactions, advisory services and overall management of the company. Prior to forming MidCity in 2009, Mr. Demetrops was President of The Griffin Company, a 35-year-old full service real estate development and construction company headquartered in Atlanta, GA. He joined The Griffin Company in 2001 and spearheaded the acquisition and development of office and mixed-use properties. Upon becoming President in 2007, his responsibilities were expanded to include managing the construction division and organizational structure. From 1996 to 2000, Mr. Demetrops was a partner in Forum Realty Corporation where he specialized in office tenant representation and land brokerage. The Griffin Company purchased Forum in late 2000. Mr. Demetrops started his career with Bailey & Associates, an Atlanta developer of office buildings, where he worked from 1988 to 1996. His primary responsibilities were the marketing and leasing of the company’s office portfolio, the majority of which was owned in a joint venture with New York Life Insurance Company. Mr. Demetrops received an MBA from Emory University and BBA from University of Georgia.

RogerRoger B. White, Jr. – Executive Vice President
Roger B. White, Jr is Executive Vice President and founding team member of MidCity. He directs the horizontal and vertical construction components of the company’s development projects and assists in preparing feasibility studies and creating development budgets.Mr. White has over 38 years of commercial construction and development experience in Atlanta with a broad range of project experience including historic preservation, adaptive re-use, corporate headquarters, office construction and renovations, corporate headquarters, hospitality and healthcare.Prior to helping form MidCity in 2009, Mr. White was with The Griffin Company. He joined The Griffin Company in 1993 as President of Griffin Construction Services, Inc. In his 18 years there, his responsibilities included management of several divisions including design, construction, development and marketing. During his tenure at Griffin, the construction division was consistently ranked in the top 25 commercial interior contractors by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. Mr. White was a partner in the firm.From 1987 to 1993, Mr. White was a partner with Summit Commercial Contractors, Inc., a commercial contractor specializing in tenant fit up projects. Prior to that engagement, he was employed as a Project Manager for several commercial contractors including Marthame Sanders & Company and Humphries & Company.

Mr. White received a BS from The Georgia Institute of Technology.

He has been certified as an asbestos abatement contractor, is a member of the Urban Land Institute, BOMA and was a member of the City of Atlanta Neighborhood Planning Unit B. He resides in Buckhead. He is married with two adult children. He enjoys international travel, gardening and snow skiing.

John Micha joined MidCity Real Estate Partners as a Director of Accounting in November, 2012. He has enjoyed forty years of real estate accounting and tax experience, and has assumed top financial positions with several prominent Atlanta real estate companies. Mr. Micha is a University of Notre Dame, Deans List, graduate where he received his BBA degree, majoring in Accounting. He began his professional career in Atlanta, working three years for the “Big Eight” CPA firm of Touche Ross & Co. After leaving public accounting he served as Accounting Manager/Controller/VP of Finance/Treasurer/CFO for the following Atlanta real estate companies: Cousins Properties, Abrams Industries, Ackerman & Co, Adams Cates/Grubb & Ellis, A.R. Weeks & Associates, and then fifteen years as the CFO for the Hawkins Companies/Resource Real Estate Partners firm. Mr. Micha has served as Board President for the Vinings Chase Condominium Association and the 425 Lindbergh Condo Association. He is the founder of the Notre Dame Peach State Scholarship Fund and he was instrumental in the formation of the highly successful Atlanta Commercial Real Estate Brokerage softball league.
